People started putting chairs and blankets along the parade route early staking out their spots hours before the annual Festival of Lights Parade through downtown Auburn would begin. Over 100 entries lit up with hundreds of lights made their way along Lincoln Way and High Street to the Gold Country Fairgrounds.

A Schwarze A7 Tornado sweeper from Szeremi Sweeping Services LLC was part of it all!
Bryan Szeremi works with a group that furnished 1000 bikes to charity. He promotes local organizations while promoting his business and the Schwarze products he runs.

Bryan designed the sleigh himself, including reindeers that galloped and turned their heads. Best estimates were that close to 10,000 people came out to watch the light parade many bundled in blankets sitting along the parade route.

Activities for the whole family including Santa’s workshop, a live nativity scene, Christmas carolers, food, drinks, Santa photos, holiday crafts for the children and over 100,000 lights strung for people to enjoy before and after the Festival of Lights Parade. It was a perfect night for the light parade event, with milder weather than years past making for a very enjoyable start of the Holiday season.
