Sourcewell is a self-supporting government organization, partnering with education, government, and nonprofits to boost student and community success. Created in 1978 as a Minnesota service cooperative, we offer a cooperative purchasing program with over 325 awarded vendors on contract. On behalf of our 50,000 members, Sourcewell conducts competitive solicitations, saving their members time & money by not having to duplicate this process on their own. Members can purchase off these contracts through their local salespeople & dealers, streamlining the procurement process. Sourcewell is driven by service and the ability to strategically reinvest in member communities.
As a unit of local government, HGACBuy (Helping Governments Across the Country Buy) strives to make the governmental procurement process more efficient by establishing competitively priced contracts for goods and services and providing the service necessary to help its members achieve their procurement goals. All contracts available to participating members of HGACBuy have been awarded by virtue of a public competitive procurement process compliant with state statutes. All units of local government, including non-profits providing governmental services, are eligible to become participating members of HGACBuy.
