Lake Oswegans got very creative in submitting names for their new A7 Tornado™ sweeper, people voted for their favorites, and the winners are…(drum roll please)… Oscar the “Oswego Sweeper Car.”, Roovis the “Rapid Oscillating Oswego Vehicle of Intense Sanitation” and Bert (as the street sweeper with the same name from Mary Poppins).

Three excellent names for their fleet of street sweepers!

One hundred and eighty of the names for the street sweepers were submitted by Lake Oswego youth on coloring contest entry forms. And there was a lot of creativity and focus by the young artists.
