BOISE, Idaho — Twenty thousand tons… that’s 40 million pounds of sand Ada County Highway District has spread this winter on county roadways.
“This is going to be huge, we put down a lot of sand. A lot of sand and salt we’ll be sweeping it up until June. We put it down and I know we have to sweep it up,” said ACHD sweeper truck operator Eddie Meddings.
